The best part about this show wasn’t getting to hear his family having dinner in the background, but that he has the missing Downliners Sect EP. What happened was the records went missing and they were left with a bunch of sleeves. Somewhere along the way, the missing music is found on reel to reel at a garage sale. He plays an entire side of it, and I have to say, they are pretty badass. You may want to check out some other things by Mike Stax, like his zine Ugly Things.
