Tonight’s three hours of psychobilly, garage and surf on The All New KGRG FM was chock full of special guests. Murder Mike of Graveyard Shift called in, later followed by Kris of The Quaranteds. Both called in to chat up about their upcoming performances at Klubfoot USA. You can get The Quaranted’s album ‘Get Sum’ currently through their Etsy shop, and Graveyard Shift’s album ‘Rest Without Peace’ is currently in stock at Raucous Records.

Rolling knee deep into the evening, we we honored to host an interview with one of our personal heroes: Mr. Lloyd Kaufman of Troma! Lloyd discussed his work with underground media, the importance of keeping independent art alive, and how people can directly fight the media conglomerates through Troma’s project Occupy Cannes.

But this wasn’t enough for us. We also were giving away tickets to see The Reverend Horton Heat w/ Jello Biafra at El Corazon. All you had to do to win these tickets was answer a asked a simple question: When have you defied a social norm? If you missed your chance to brag your legend, just leave a comment below! Lots of great stories were shared this evening…
